This international, interdisciplinary project with Stanford University and the University of California at San Diego will introduce and translate a bedside, non-invasive approach to characterize complex tumor vascular networks, by considering the interconnected nature of voxels in 3D dynamic contrast-enhanced ultrasound.
At TUHH, we will develop fast and efficient numerical inversion methods for a flow field model that explicitly accounts for an arterial and a venous compartment and evaluate the performance in pre-clinical and clinical data.
