YOUR TASKS

  • Collaboration in the further development of the open-source solution ConFlowGen for the generation of synthetic container flow data for seaport container terminals
  • Publication of research results in scientific journals and at conferences
  • Knowledge transfer through lectures and tutorials as well as supervision of student work in the institute's subject area
  • Participation in the development of a digitally controlled physical port model including cargo handling

YOUR PROFILE

  • Successfully completed scientific university studies, especially in the field(s) of (business) informatics, (industrial) engineering or logistics
  • High communication skills in English language
  • Prior experience developing software or libraries in Python.
  • Previous experience in distributed software development with git and platforms such as GitHub or GitLab
  • Systematic and independent approach to work and structured problem solving skills
  • Open and pleasant communication style in dealing with partners, students and colleagues
