YOUR TASKS

• Work towards pursuing a doctorate in Artificial Intelligence
  
• Perform research in the area of human-centric machine learning. The exact topic can be discussed with the candidate, but must relate to: the development of agents able to interact with a reasoning agent, or of pipelines for a hybrid human-AI development of machine learning models
  
• The research done is committed to high standards of international excellence and the expected outcomes must be publishable in international conferences or journals
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed scientific university studies, related to the domain of Applied Mathematics or Computer Science, with an emphasis on AI
  

• Full professional proficiency in English
  
• A particular interest in either multi-agent systems, reinforcement learning, probabilistic methods, or symbolic AI. Interest and/or knowledge in neuro-symbolic AI are a big plus
  
• Interested in developing new methods and in addressing new problems. An interest in fundamental questions is wished, beyond just implementing algorithms
