YOUR TASKS

• Research in the area of haptics system design, especially based on miniature actuators and wearables
  
• Quantification of haptics systems from the perspective of device integration but also from the user’s perspective
  
• Participating in lecturing in the area of basics of haptics and transfer between society and engineering sciences
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with other Hamburg universities, such as the university of art and music, the University clinics Eppendorf, the University of Applied sciences in the newly founded ligeti-center
• Coordination and support of student projects in the above mentioned contexts
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Completed scientific university studies (Master)  especially in the direction of mechatronics, mechanical engineering and/or electrical engineering, alternatively  in the faculties of physics or any of the technical direction of human-machine-interaction
  

• Basic German knowledge B1, better B2 due to the interfaces to numerous local partners
• Engineering knowledge in the design of dynamic systems
• Good basics in the area of measurement technology
  
• Used to work in an interdisciplinary team
  
• Ready to participate and execute show-events with the partners
