As part of the BlueMat research initiative's Research Area D – Energy Materials, we are seeking a highly motivated and talented PhD candidate to join our interdisciplinary team.
Our research focuses on fundamentally understanding liquids at solid-liquid interfaces and within nanoporous functional materials, aiming to revolutionize energy storage and conversion technologies using environmentally friendly materials.
About BlueMat – Water-Driven Materials
The BlueMat Initiative is an interdisciplinary team and vision that aims to develop a new class of sustainable, interactive “blue” materials. Inspired by the extraordinary efficiency and multiscale architectures of biological systems, BlueMat explores how water—as a ubiquitous and highly dynamic medium, can be harnessed in combination with structured materials for innovative functionalities.
