Scope full time and for a maximum of four years
The chair of Applied Analysis with the Institute of Mathematics is hiring for research in the direction of
- analysis of projection methods,
- asymptotics of spectral quantities in operator approximation,
- functional analytic study of PDEs,
- problems in control theory.
YOUR TASKS
- research and teaching in areas of applied analysis,
- largely independent work on research projects in the areas that are mentioned above,
- teaching, in particular maths for engineering students,
- communication of research results at conferences and in journals
YOUR PROFILE
Requirements
- completed scientific university studies, in particular in the subject mathematics or a related area
Required knowledge and personal skills
- good language skills in English (B2/C1)
- an interest in our research topics
- ability to work independent
- highly motivated
- team player
