YOUR TASKS

• Machine learning methods for multi-criteria optimization and path planning, e.g., for medical and mobile robots in dynamic environments
  
• Designing efficient machine learning models, including models running on embedded hardware
  
• Designing and implementing prototypical robotic systems
• Systematic experimental evaluation in the context of medical and mobile robotics scenarios, e.g., motion compensated robotic radiation therapy, robotic needle steering, and mobile robotic platforms
• Presentation of your results at top-tier international conferences and publications in high-ranking journals
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Master degree in computer science or related fields with excellent grades
  

• Very good programming skills, particularly in both C++ and Python
• Excellent knowledge of optimization and recent machine learning methods, particularly for computer vision
• Hands-on experience with mobile robots and robotics frameworks, particularly ROS is a big plus
• Strong research focus and ability to work independently
• Excellent English language and scientific writing skills, German is a big bonus
