  • Work towards pursuing a doctoral degree in computer science
  • Perform research in the area of constraint satisfaction problems and promise constraint satisfaction in connection with quantum complexity


  • You have completed (or are about to complete) a Master’s degree in Mathematics, or in Computer Science with an emphasis on Theoretical Computer Science
  • You are motivated in doing academic research and have a strong interest in theoretical work
  • You have a strong background in discrete mathematics and complex linear algebra
  • You have some familiarity with category theory as well as complexity theory
